Nuvei Appoints New Product and Compliance Executives Amid Strategic Expansion

Nuvei Corporation has expanded its executive team with the appointments of Moshe Selfin as Chief Product Officer and Chad Gerhardstein as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. The move comes as the company strengthens its focus on product development, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Selfin, who previously served as Chief Operations & Technology Officer at Finaro, will lead Nuvei’s global product strategy and development. His role involves expanding the company’s suite of payment solutions and advancing its technology infrastructure to support businesses operating in multiple markets. His appointment aligns with Nuvei’s broader strategy to enhance its payment offerings and optimize its platform for international merchants.

Gerhardstein joins from PwC, where he specialized in cyber risk and regulatory frameworks for fintech, payments, and digital assets. He has also held senior positions at Vantiv and served as Chief Compliance Officer at Worldpay. At Nuvei, he will oversee global risk management and compliance, ensuring that the company’s operations align with evolving regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions.

Both executives will report directly to Nuvei’s leadership, with Selfin reporting to Chair and CEO Philip Fayer and Gerhardstein reporting to CFO David Schwartz.

Nuvei continues to expand its presence across international markets, offering businesses a wide range of payment solutions. The company supports over 200 markets, with local acquiring capabilities in 50 countries, processing transactions in 150 currencies and enabling 720 alternative payment methods. Its platform integrates card issuing, banking, and fraud management services, catering to both large enterprises and smaller merchants.

With these leadership changes, Nuvei aims to refine its technological infrastructure and compliance mechanisms as it navigates the complexities of the global payments industry.
